	Poker Online - illegal?

Poker or the most usual form of it Texas Hold'em has turned out to become one of the most popular activities on the net. Playing Poker Online is something almost all of us has tried at least once. Most of the poker rooms are based somewhere around South America or in the souther European nations. In Scandinavia poker is more or less illegal but online poker doesn't know these boundaries. It is not illegal to play in a nations such as Sweden but it is illegal to host. Even related sites that does not have any poker rooms themselves such as Poker Software sites or sites with poker schools or forums need to be based outside Scandinavia to be truly legal. Is this really called for? In the swedish monopoly Svenska Spel are the only company that legaly can offer gambling. This because they are supposed to keep gambling safe and moderate. It's a goverment company and they claim to do the same as Systembolaget does, that is actually decreasing the amount of gambling (as Systembolaget does with drinking). There is one big difference, Systembolaget does a whole lot of commercials saying "Don't drink to much" or "Drinking is dangerous" while Svenska Spel (that is the second biggest advertiser in Sweden) launches new games or gambling sites and promotes them. They always keep a small tag saying Gamble moderatly but it is never any more then a small legal notice in the add.
