	Constitution of Finland The first parliamentary election in Finland was held in March 1907. The parliamentary elections to be held in March 2007 are the 35th parliamentary elections organized in Finland. Members of Parliament are elected for four years. Election Day is the third Sunday of March. Every Finnish citizen who is eighteen years old is allowed to vote in parliamentary elections. Finland was the first country to give full eligibility to women. There are not many immigrants in Finland but there are some swedish speaking people.
